Our Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of SyftCom ("SyftCom", "we", "us" and/or "our") with respect to our use and disclosure of the information that we collect about users of the Syft mobile application, website, related services for obtaining temporary telephone numbers for voice, SMS, and MMS use, and any other interactions we may have with you online and offline (collectively, our "Services").

Before you use or submit any information through or in connection with our Services, please carefully review this Privacy Policy. By using any part of our Services, you understand that your information will be collected, used, and disclosed as outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Services.

  • Account Information: When you register for our Services, we may collect your mobile phone number (from which we may derive your mobile carrier), email address, and other information necessary to provide you with temporary phone numbers
  • Communications Content: Voice calls, SMS messages, and MMS messages sent and received through our temporary phone numbers
  • Payment Information: If you make purchases through our Services, we collect payment information through our payment processors
  • Support Communications: When you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide in those communications
  • Other Information: Any other information that identifies or can be reasonably associated with you that you choose to provide

Device and Usage Information

When you interact with our Services, we receive and store certain information that is collected passively using various technologies. This information includes IP address, device type, screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, Internet browser type and version, the pages you view in our Services, how you use our Services, mobile carrier, time zone, device identifiers, and similar technical information.

Emergency Situations

911 Calls and Emergency Assistance: NOTE THAT THE SERVICE CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR 911 OR EMERGENCY CALLING.

However, if you attempt to contact emergency services via the Service, we may provide information about you to a public safety answering point; emergency medical service provider or dispatch provider; public safety, fire service, or law enforcement official; or hospital emergency or other medical care facility. As permitted by law, we may also disclose information without a user's consent in an emergency situation involving risk of death or serious physical harm.

De-identified or Aggregated Data

We may share de-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. Such information is not considered personal information and may be shared for analytics, research, marketing, and other business purposes.

Texas Privacy Rights

Texas residents have certain rights under Texas law, including protections under the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act. Texas law requires us to implement reasonable procedures to protect personal information from unauthorized access.

Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of states including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia may have privacy rights under their respective state privacy laws. Texas residents should be aware that Texas has specific privacy protections under the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act. Information Related to Children Under the Age of 13

Our Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.
